SAINT JOSEPH'S MINNIE G. BOSWELL INCREASES STAFF
GREENSBORO - (June 2, 2008) - Saint Joseph's Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital has named Celia Covington director, nursing services and Terrie L. Franklin, human resources coordinator.
Covington has more than 20 years nursing experience and will oversee all patient care activities. Franklin will be responsible for employee relations, recruiting, training and benefits administration at the 25-bed critical access hospital.
"We're pleased to have Celia and Terri join us and help achieve our goal of providing quality and enhanced services to the residents of the Lake area," says Mike Huff, administrator of Saint Joseph's at Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital.
Prior to joining Saint Joseph's, Covington served at surgical services manager at Putnam General Hospital; IHS Home Health Services, as well as Oconee Regional Hospital, Central State Hospital and Health Master Home Health. She received her Bachelor of Science, Nursing from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Ga. and is CNOR-certified. Covington is a resident of Eatonton, Ga.
Franklin served as a Medicaid eligibility specialist with the Department of Human Resources, State of Georgia; Southeast Toyota (Commerce, Ga.), Kautex TEXTRON (Lavonia, GA); and Scientific Research Corporation (Atlanta) prior to joining Saint Joseph's. Franklin is a resident of Elberton, Ga.
